8 minute tutorial – There are two parts – the first part – saving a screen shot to a specific folder and filename, and the second part – using some of the example data installed with Product Scope 7, creating a spreadsheet, and then saving the spreadsheet to a specific folder and filename.

We have found using this method (can be applied for programs that have file dialogs and let you choose where to save the file – images, Word documents, spreadsheets, text files, etc) can be a real time saver once you learn the technique in Product Scope 7.

You download and install Product Scope 7. Download and install the Clarion Third Party Profile Exchange Web Update program (instructions are included in the readme portion of the install).

Although many people do a daily backup of their files (at least they are supposed to), it is quite possible for something to happen during the day which could ruin hours and hours worth of work.

Tragedies such as program crashes, human error, hardware failure, bad luck, and others can render your hard work useless. Before “InBack” you would have had to restore from the last full backup in order to recover. “InBack” provides the computer user with a way to save their more important files in a quick and easy way.

* Projects – Uses a “Project” system which allows you to specify only the important files that you want to backup. Within a project, you specify:

* Recursing of subdirectories
* File masking (such as *.txt, *.xls, *.doc, etc..) to save all files of a certain type.

* Flexibility – Backs up to any target medium that you specify, including hard disks, network drives, zip drives, Jaz drives, Syquest, and any other type of media that can be mapped to a drive letter. Note: Because of the nature of the way that “InBack” operates, Floppy disks are not suitable backup media.

* Smart! – Creates multiple backup files for each project, allowing you to specify the maximum number of backups that exist on your target media. This, in andof itself, is one of the more powerful features of “InBack”.

* Each time a backup is performed (which can be as often as you like) a fresh new backup file is created, and all backup files are re-named in chronological order.
